CONFICKER VIRUS: US$ 250,000 Virus

Ok, today I want to share with you guys a very expensive  and dangerous virus, called Conficker.

Conficker is also known as "DownUp". It is a computer worm that targeted for Microsoft operating system user. This virus was first found in october 2008. Now, this virus is attacking Microsoft XP, Vista, Server 2003, Server 2009, windows seven beta, and windows server 2008 R2 beta's network which was first detected earlier that month.

Conficker is a virus with a high technology and advance programming system.
BKIS, a Vietnam security firm said that they have found clues about this virus. They estimated that this virus, conficker is originated from China

Conficker is believed to be the most widespread computer worm or virus since SQL slammer in 2003. They believed that there are about 10 million computers in the world infected in this world wide. The spread of this worm is believed because of transferring USB from one computer to another computer.

Intramar, the French Navy computer network was infected with Conficker on 15 January 2009 which was published in "Jawa Pos" a few days later. The network was quarantined! Most of the aircraft was grounded because they could not download their flight plans.

A few days later The United Kingdom Ministry of Defense reported that some of their computer was infected. This virus has infected across the city, including hospitals! 800 computers was infected in this tragedy.

On 2nd February 2009, the Bundeswehr, the unified armed forces of the Federal Republic of Germany claimed that about one hundred of their computers were infected!!!

As of 13 February 2009, Microsoft is offering a US$250,000 for anyone who can find the person who created/distributed this virus.

But you don't have to worry anymore about this virus! Because you can download a special anti virus for this virus.

But, before you scan your computer, make sure that your computer is not connected to any network. eg. Wireless, LAN, Dial Up, etc.

And remember to update your Microsoft windows (with Windows update) to always protect your computer against all harmful virus or worm.

Yahoo Messenger 9.0 (Latest Update)

Hi! First thing before I start to rate a software I want to apologize to all of you especially Mr. Gilbert, because of my late post.

In this post I want to talk about Yahoo Messenger's latest version. I only knew that they have this new software a few days a go.

As all of knew now days, our world has a very high and good technologies. One of the example is Instant Messenger (IM). Before the scientist invented internet connection, it was very hard for all of to connect with our friend that stays in other countries.

But now, after they invented Internet connection, IM, or website we are now easier to share file, photo, etc.

60 Earth Hour™

Ok guys, as all of you know our planet, Earth is now suffering from global warming.
I think none of us consider it as a serious problem, none of us want to save energy.

But now, there is an opportunity for all of us to do it because on 28th of March 2009, Saturday at 8:30 PM all nations, country, and city around the world will gather to turn off all their lights for 1 hour to save energy.

And now it's time for all of us to vote between Earth or global warming!

Now is the first time on Earth's history that all people of all ages, nationalities, races and backgrounds have the opportunity to use their lights switch as their vote (Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming.)

The Earth history of hour begun in Sydney of 2007 when 2.2 million of homes and business centres switched off all their lights for one hour. And in 2008 this important message spread into a global movement, with more than 50 million people switching off their lights in year 2008.

Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness!

But now all of us are brought to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of global vote (between Earth and Global warming). And the special thing about this election is, it is not about which country you are from, but it is about which planet you are from! This vote is a call to stand up and take action for our planet's future. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009 and surprisingly this number is growing everyday.

FAQ:
Ok, after I have talked about this program there was someone asked me this question:
"Don't we already have an uninstaller in our windows? How is this better than that?"

Yes, it is correct if we have an uninstaller in our windows, but the unintaller in our windows only uninstall the program without removing all the entries, shortcut, and registry that left by the installer.
But with Your Uninstaller! 2008 we can uninstall and remove all the unwanted or unused registry. It is a very usefull program! Try it and experience it!
