Hi! First thing before I start to rate a software I want to apologize to all of you especially Mr. Gilbert, because of my late post.
In this post I want to talk about Yahoo Messenger's latest version. I only knew that they have this new software a few days a go.
As all of knew now days, our world has a very high and good technologies. One of the example is Instant Messenger (IM). Before the scientist invented internet connection, it was very hard for all of to connect with our friend that stays in other countries.
But now, after they invented Internet connection, IM, or website we are now easier to share file, photo, etc.
There are a lot of IM in this world now days, there are Yahoo Messenger, MSN, Google talk Beta, Skype, etc.
The reason why I prefer Yahoo than other IM is because Yahoo Messenger has a lot of new features in their new update. (Download here)
Yahoo 9.0 Features are:
- You can connect will all your friends, even if they are using other provider (eg. MSN/hotmail)
- You can SMS your friend wherever they are. (terms & conditions applied)
- You can controll who can see you online with stealth settings.
- Share or transfer files up to 2GB! You can send photo (s), Movie (s), Presentation (s), File (s), etc
- You also can call your friends to a regular phone with a very good and reasonable price. 1¢/minute
- PC-PC calls, you can call your friend(s) that have yahoo messenger for free. (You may need speaker and microphone)
- Webcam you will only need to plug in your webcam and install it and you will be able to share your life with friends and family
- IM conferencing, you will be able to chat with all your friends at the same time.
- Share your files with a very secure network because everything that you send using Yahoo will be scaned by Norton 2007/2008
